As the UFC takes a brief pause following UFC on ESPN 62, numerous combat sports events are underway featuring some familiar faces who have previously competed under the UFC banner. Let’s take a closer look at how these veterans of the MMA world are faring in the world of combat sports between August 29th and August 31st.

Enrique Barzola secured a unanimous decision win against Tyler Diamond at the 2024 PFL Playoffs 3, while Tyler Diamond faced a unanimous decision loss against Barzola in the same event. Kai Kamaka experienced a split decision loss against Brendan Loughnane at the 2024 PFL Playoffs 3, with Loughnane emerging victorious. Allan Zuniga suffered a TKO loss to Polo Reyes at Supreme Fight Night 6, where Reyes walked away with a TKO win against Zuniga. Gloria de Paula faced a unanimous decision loss to Ashley Yoder at LFA 190, where Yoder claimed victory over de Paula.

Jared Vanderaa secured a unanimous decision win against Demoreo Dennis at Fight Night 20. Vinicius Moreira’s results from his fight against Maico Machado at Soldado Combat 3 are still pending. Jack May is gearing up to face John Shipman at Fight Club OC in a boxing match, with his last MMA fight resulting in a TKO loss against Tyrell Fortune at Bellator 255 in April 2021.

Sheymon Moraes is set to face off against an opponent at UFL 5, having previously won by submission against Rey Trujillo at RDC 10 in January 2024. Vince Morales is scheduled to fight Hunter Azure at UFL 5, following a submission win against Luis Guerrero at Tuff-N-Uff 137 in May 2024. Amun Cosme will be taking on Vince Morales at UFL 5 after a knockout win against him at UFL 4 on April 27, 2024. Nandin-Erdene Munguntsooj is preparing for a fight against Norman Parke at Road FC 69, having previously clinched a unanimous decision victory against Dinislam Kamavov at UAE Warriors 46 in January 2024.

Norman Parke is scheduled to compete against Pawel Tyburski at Fame 22, with his last victory being a unanimous decision win over Michal Pasternak at Fame 20 in February 2024. Despite his exit from the UFC, Parke has maintained an impressive record of 11-2 MMA (1 NC), alongside 2-1 in boxing and 2-0 in custom rules fights.
